HYDRANT FLUSHING NOTICE
St. Peter’s, Samsonville and Area Water Utility will be flushing Hydrants on Wednesday May 21 and Thursday May 22, 2025. Customers may notice water pressure issues and slight water discolouration issues while hydrants are being flushed. Flushing will take place Wednesday night beginning at 9 pm, starting in Samsonville. French Cove lines will be flushed throughout the day on Thursday May 22, 2025, and the hydrants in St. Peter’s will be flushed starting at 9 pm Thursday evening. Your water and sewer bills have changed…
We have switched accounting systems from Simply Accounting to Quickbooks, therefore your water and sewer bills will look different moving forward. Also please note that your sewer bills are now calculated at 100% of your water bill, excluding special fees such as Disconnection Fees, Meter Storage Fees etc. The rate change was approved at the Annual General Meeting in August 2023. There is no change to water rates.
