HYDRANT FLUSHING NOTICE
St. Peter’s, Samsonville and Area Water Utility will be flushing hydrants on Tuesday October 20, 2026 and Wednesday October 21, 2026. Customers may notice water pressure issues and slight water discolouration issues while hydrants are being flushed.
Flushing will take place Tuesday October 20,2026, beginning at 9 pm, starting in Samsonville.
French Cove lines will be flushed throughout the day on Wednesday October 21, 2026, and the hydrants in St. Peter’s will be flushed starting at 9 pm Wednesday evening.

Rate Increase information effective October 1, 2025
Your water and sewer bills have changed…
We have switched accounting systems from Simply Accounting to Quickbooks, therefore your water and sewer bills will look different moving forward. Also please note that your sewer bills are now calculated at 100% of your water bill, excluding special fees such as Disconnection Fees, Meter Storage Fees etc. The rate change was approved at the Annual General Meeting in August 2023. There is no change to water rates.
